I was flattered recently to not only get some great responses to my first column in Business Brief, but to also be invited back this month to write another. Indeed, yours truly is back in the pages of the Digihub section this November, and this time I’m getting all serious, talking about how we can combine local businesses with new tech for better transactions.

I discuss some of the issues local companies face in regards to digital and national competition, and about how our beloved small businesses and brands can embrace new platforms and apps to improve their loyalty offerings — both for their customer and themselves.

Special thanks as always to Rosie at Business Brief for the space in the mag, and to Rob at Swipii for the interview and for giving me some great stats.

Anyway, here’s the link, and I hope you’ll enjoy. And as always, if you really like it, please share it on as it helps me out a ton.
